Geilo Hestesenter offers pony rides for the very young on the farm’s own field. This is a safe and enjoyable experience where children can get to know the ponies and enjoy a short ride accompanied by one of the stable staff. Parents must walk alongside their child during the ride. This service is available only during the summer vacation and is subject to availability

Try a unique way to transport your family or group with a prairie wagon. This wagon accommodates up to 16 people, with two benches on each side and a long table in the middle, allowing everyone to sit comfortably facing each other. It is covered with a canopy that provides protection from the weather, and the ride is made even more special with a team of 4 or 2 horses in front. The ride lasts about an hour and starts from Geilo Hestesenter. It travels centrally around Geilo, offering an unforgettable experience for all participants.

If your wedding takes place in winter, you can use the Austrian sleds from Geilo Hestesenter, which come with special wedding decorations to create an extra festive atmosphere. These sleds feature a decorative frame that is not only beautiful but also provides good warmth.
For summer weddings, you can choose between the same Austrian sleds or a traditional carriage. The sled accommodates up to 9 people, while the carriage seats 4. The horses will be beautifully groomed and adorned, and the harnesses will be polished and shiny. The driver will be dressed in their finest to ensure this special occasion is an unforgettable experience.
