At Geilo, kids can enjoy four different children’s and family areas and participate in many fun activities and events.

There’s never a dull moment for the kids; they can explore one area one day and another the next. Ski school is a great option for those looking to improve their skiing skills and confidence, with private lessons or group classes for those at the same level. Additionally, there are exciting activities like a kids' disco on the slopes, SkiPlay, and much more.

4 FUN CHILDREN'S AREAS

Trollklubben

Located in the base area of Vestlia, Trollklubben is a fun and varied venue for children and families, featuring a ski conveyor, a slow-moving platter lift, and gentle slopes.

Kikut

At Kikut, you'll find a family-friendly area with a fantastic location near the Kikut cabin area. This area includes a ski conveyor and a new, child-friendly platter lift that takes you all the way to Kikuttoppen.

Slaatta

Slaatta offers a large children’s area with exciting features like figures, forest trails, a mini-skicross, a self-timer, and a park with jumps and rails. This area is located in the base area, easily accessible and within walking distance from the town center.

Havsdalen

Havsdalen features a cozy children's and family area at 1000 meters above sea level. Here, you’ll find lifts and slopes suitable for beginners, including a ski conveyor and gentle runs. It’s also easy to progress to bigger challenges, such as trying Fjellcrossen.

In the various ski centers in Geilo, fun activities are organized for the children!

Children's Disco & Taco

In the children's area in Vestlia you can join an evening filled with light, music and a great atmosphere together in Huga. The children can dance to their favorite songs in a magical atmosphere, and combine the evening with Friday tacos in the Ski Café.

Kids Huski Race and Marshmallows party

At Geilo Ski School - Slaatta, there will be speed, excitement and laughter with Kids Huski Race, an exciting slalom race. The evening starts with a slalom race, then there will be games and dancing before the evening ends with marshmallows barbecue in Slaatta basecamp. The slalom race is run on the green slopes so all children can join and everyone gets a prize afterwards.

KiDs SKi fUN

At Geilo Ski School - Slaatta you can join in having fun skiing, together with friends, siblings and other children. Join us to explore the ski area and the best ski slopes in Geilo. Skiing is done on forest trails, terrain waves, slalom trails and all places where skiing is fun. There will also be a well-deserved break at SlaattaStugu with hot chocolate and homemade Slaattbolller.

Family trip with sledding and campfire

At Geilo Ski School - Slaatta you can join a cozy trip where you try snowshoeing, sledding and grilling stick bread around the fire. The trip goes in the forest area around Slaatta and ends with sledding on a butt board and a nice time at Slaatta campfire.
