Day 1

Breakfast usually starts with a glass, followed by a breakfast with eggs and bacon. You have some free time before the pre-booked activity, so some of the guys go downtown to do some last minute shopping, while the other half takes goes cross-country skiing to Prestholtseter. At Prestholtseter you can buy drinks, food and baked goods. In the afternoon it is time for a winter activity, the duration depends a little on what you have booked. But expect to spend anywhere from half an hour to two hours. After a long day outdoors with activities, it's good to know that the rest of the evening will be spent in the cabin or apartment, with a delicious steak dinner and some good drinks!

Day 2

This day starts pretty much the same as the day before, but there is a little extra coffee today. As soon as everyone has gotten up, you eat breakfast and change into ski clothes. It depends on where you live, but you can either walk out the door and straight into the ski resort or jump on skibus which takes you directly to the ski lift. You start by skiing for a few hours in Geiloheisen and Fugleleiken, before taking a short break at Halsteinsgård Kafè. They serve sausages, homemade omelettes, waffles and baked goods. You take a few more turns on the ski slope before you take the actual lunch break at Havsdalskroa. Here they have Geilo's best pizza and a good selection of other dishes with elements of local ingredients, as well as lots of good drinks. At weekends and holidays, Havsdalskroa is transformed into Geilo's best apres ski. Therefore, you will be sitting here for the rest of the day. The last ski bus from après ski leaves at 19.30, but you have taken the bus a little earlier as you have reserved a table at Hallingstuene Restaurant at 20.00, this is a restaurant with a good atmosphere and rich taste experiences. Hallingstuene specializes in dishes such as grouse, reindeer and deer and has a well-stocked wine cellar with over 900 different wines on the wine list.
