Together on a journey

Art exhibition in the Geilo culture church from 22nd of February to 5th of april.

The exhibition explores forest bathing, or Shinrin-yoku as it is called in Japanese—a practice that demonstrates how the forest can reduce stress hormones, strengthen the immune system, and improve mood. Gro Mukta Holter has been painting forest motifs for nearly twenty years, seeking to capture and convey the healing power of nature onto surfaces of paint or chalk.

Holter’s art operates at the intersection of the figurative and the abstract. She deconstructs and reconfigures human experiences and nature’s archetypes, infusing her work with unique depth and presence.
