Snowkite Course at Finse1222
The Finse1222 hotel offers several snowkite courses throughout the winter season.
As the name suggests, snowkiting is an activity that combines skiing with sailing. The result is a high-speed experience that brings joy, excitement, and a sense of accomplishment. The only thing that can dampen the euphoric feeling of snowkiting is poor wind—luckily, that’s a rare occurrence at Finse!
Interested in trying it out?
During the winter season (January–May), we offer snowkite courses for hotel guests, including rental of snowkite equipment. Scheduled courses are available during both the winter break and Easter holidays.
In addition, we have courses on the following dates in 2025:
January 17–19
February 21–23
March 21–23
The course includes snowkite equipment for one day for guests staying at the hotel. It is possible to rent snowkite gear for an additional day if you’ve participated in the course.
Helmets and randonnée skis are not included (but skis and boots can be rented at the hotel).
Transportation is by train from Oslo, Bergen, and Geilo.
