Sauna & Ice Bath - Ustaoset

Information: 

Duration: 90 minutes.

Explanation number/booking: You book 1 sauna for private use for 90 minutes incl. ice bath. Once you have booked the sauna, you choose how many people will use it, see below for the number of information.

Age: Suitable for all ages

Price includes: Private sauna experience combined with ice bathing/snow bathing (optional) in Ustevatn. Firewood is included. *Price for premises only applies to those with a residential address in Hol Municipality. This will be investigated. Please note that ice bathing is only possible with safe ice.

Quantity: For up to 6 people. If you know each other well, you can fit 8 people. 

Bring: Towel and swimwear. If you want to ice bathe, you must bring wool socks, mittens, a hat and warm clothes, as we recommend large, spacious shoes that are easy to put on. There are no changing rooms nearby, therefore recommend bringing swimwear on. Pack in a large bag or backpack to store your own clothes while you enjoy the sauna.

Transportation: This activity takes place at Ustaoset. If you do not have a car, you can use train vy.no or Brakar bus 334. For more information and timetables, see entur.no 

Parking: next to Joker/gas station. Parking fees are paid to the gas station at Ustaoset.

A 90 minute private sauna experience combined with ice bathing if desired. 

Welcome into a warm and clean sauna for private use for 1.5 hours. The sauna has a window, is wood-fired and has plenty of room for 6 seated people. If you want to lie down, there is plenty of room for 2 people and if you know each other extra well, you can accommodate 8 people. 

By purchasing this experience, you get to take part in ice bathing - a wonderful shock for both body and soul. This is of course optional. The ice hole is located about 20m from the sauna. Guaranteed an unforgettable experience combined with high security.

There is extra water and wood in the sauna so you can regulate the temperature yourself.

Ice bathing is only possible when the ice is safe.
