The Red Cross is a broad organization that works with many fields; aid corps, care activities, youth, national preparedness, international work and international humanitarian law. The Red Cross has seven basic principles that make up our common set of values. The principles provide the organization with a framework, tools to work with, and goals to realize. These are; humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntariness, unity and universality.
