Ostebygda
Ostebygda (The Cheese Village) is a collaboration between seven local producers, who make world-class cheese!
Ostebygda consists of 7 local producers, 468 goats, 104 cows, 2 local cheeseries and 26 different cheeses! The cheeses have collected many medals in the World Cheese Awards the recent years. The recipes have followed the farms for generations, and each farm in Ostebygda has its own specialities. Some of the cheeses are produced all year round, and others are only available in the summer.
