Winter in Geilo is anything but boring! Kids can try their hand at dog sledding, skiing, sledding, animal care, and much more.

If you're new to alpine skiing, Geilo has two experienced ski schools to assist you. There are also 500 km of cross-country trails, and two skilled operators offer guided snowshoe tours. At Geilo Husky, you can drive your own dog sled, and in Dagali, you can sled down Norway's longest groomed toboggan run, just to name a few options.

In the ski resort, you can explore different kids' areas every day. Ski school is a great way to improve skiing skills and confidence, whether through private lessons or group sessions with others at the same level. If you need childcare while you’re at ski school or want some adult ski time, Trollklubben Childcare is perfect for you. Additionally, there are exciting activities like kids' disco on the slopes, SkiPlay, and much more!
