In the summer, they provide mountain biking with both instruction and guided tours, hiking, and canoe rental. During the winter season, they offer cross-country skiing instruction, guided snowshoe and fatbike tours, as well as fatbike and snowshoe rentals. Geilo Aktiv boasts Norway's largest fleet of fatbikes with 14 bikes available in various sizes, along with Geilo's largest snowshoe rental service.

Geilo Aktiv is operated by Nina Gässler, who holds a background in sports science and extensive experience as a guide, instructor, and coach. She is certified as a mountain bike guide and instructor (NMIG and EO-MTBING/ European Bike Guides). Nina considers it a privilege to share outdoor activities with guests and to teach cross-country skiing and mountain biking techniques at all skill levels.
