Prestholtseter

Prestholtseter a cosy mountain café with long traditions. Prestholtseter is located by Hallingskarvet at 1242 m, by the Hallingskarvet National Park.

Prestholtseter is a popular moauntain café both during summer and winter, and the cafe can tempt you with both home baked goods and delicious lunch and dinner dishes. In the summer, Prestholtseter also serves traditional Norwegian food, such as cured meat and sour cream porridge (rømmegrøt).

Prestholtseter is a great starting point for trips in both summer and winter. In summer, Prestholt is the starting point for the Prestholt stairs, which leads to Hallingskarvet Mountain. In summer, the road goes all the way to Prestholtseter (toll road). In winter, there are great ski trails from both Havsdalen and Ustaoset.
